More employers are seeing pharmacy costs emerge as a driver of their overall health plan costs. With new innovations in medications and pharmacy-related therapies, pharmacy costs are set to remain a significant portion of the dollars spent in an annual health plan.
As a result, it has become critical for employers and plan designers to understand what aspects of their employees’ and members’ health and wellbeing is contributing to the pharmacy trend.

Join us on March 7, 2018, at 11:00 AM EST for an engaging discussion with industry experts, as we cover:
- What categories of medications are driving pharmacy spend
- How reviewing reports for medical and pharmacy claims can identify elements for pharmacy cost control
- Pharmacy plan elements that can be leveraged for pharmacy cost control
- Solutions that have been developed by carriers and third party service providers to control pharmacy spend, improve medication adherence, and reduce disease burden with effective therapies
