Hello Employer!!  Are you looking for that untapped applicant pool? Those future employees you know are out there but cannot find?  Then please join us on Saturday, April 21st for the first annual “Your Future Starts Here: No Plan? No Problem!” informational/job fair! This event is primarily targeting Cabarrus County graduating high school seniors (public and private schools) who are looking for opportunities/careers that do not require a 4-year college degree.  However, we will invite all Cabarrus County students to provide exposure to alternatives to university.

This free event for employers to participate in, is being hosted by Rowan Cabarrus Community College, in conjunction with S&D Coffee & Tea, DecisionPathHR and the Cabarrus County Career Academies. This information/job fair will be open to all students and their families, as well as the general public, to learn more about job opportunities and careers that are available in our area that do not require a 4 year degree.

We think this is a great opportunity for your company to get your name/brand out to this untapped applicant pool! Applications may be taken and interviews done on site if you wish to do so.

Who should participate:    Any business, school, or program available to high school graduates that does not require a 4-year degree

What:   Informational fair where you will have a table to showcase your business/program and have one-on-one conversations with participants

When:  Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (setup starting at 8:00 am)

Why:    To provide students of all ages information and help build your talent pipeline

    Where:  RCCC South Campus

We are excited to invite you to this inaugural event and be a part of helping students understand that a 4-year degree isn’t the only way to achieve a bright future.  If you aren't able to personally attend but know someone else that might like to, please feel free to forward this email to them!
