The following information will be provided:

Updates on the changing landscape of the law in the area of non-competes. There have been several decisions by the North Carolina appellate courts in recent years that have continued to narrow the boundaries of what North Carolina’s courts deem to be permissible restraints on competition.

Me Too - Provide guidance on defending against sexual harassment claims in the "me too" era.

Mandatory Arbitration Agreements - Discussing recent Supreme Court decision upholding the use of class action waivers in employment agreements. Arbitration agreements in employment began as a way for employers (and employees) to avoid the often expensive, drawn out, and increasingly unpredictable nature of litigating employment claims in court.

Legal and Illegal Drug Use in the Workplace, Wage and Hour Issues
